SWG Medals

Medals are awarded to members for exceptional service, skill, participation, and leadership ability. Once a member recieves a medal, the medal will stay on their respective roster forever. A medal is a permanent award.

Award and Medal Descriptions

The Cross of Coruscant

Since the genesis of awards, the Cross of Coruscant has been the most sought after award. It is given to the player who plays, and wins, the most ladder matches.

Award of Merit

This award is given to the most sportsmanlike, friendly, and all aroud nicest player in SWG. You do not have to be an amazing player to recieve this award. I hope that all of you can earn this award.

Corellian Cross

Every so often, a player will find himself outnumbered, and fighting the odds. This award is given to players who perform outstanding deeds, in times of needs. They will never give up. In fact, they never even listen to the odds.

Distinguished Service

Once a player earns 100 points he is eligible to become an officer. This is the most important point in a player's career. If they receieve a promotion to ensign, they receive this medal. It signifies an entry into a new level for the player.

Combat Readiness

Perhaps the most important part of life is participation. This medal is awarded to any player who competes in 10 SWG tournaments. Receiving this medal signifies dedication on the part of the player. This is a difficult medal to earn.

Star of Sulon

It takes tremendous skill to win at Jedi Knight. But the skill that is needed to train others is simply astounding. For the officer's who have made a sacrifice of time, and sometimes sanity, all in the name of training...this medal is for you.

Medal of Valour

Perhaps the most valued quality a player can possess is sportsmanship. This medal is awarded to a player who is always fear, kind, and freindly. In order to win this award, you must have won the award of merit at least 4 times.

Medal of Excellence

In my personal opinion, leadership is vital for success. You will find that all successful players are generally good leaders. If a player demonstrates outstanding leadership, he is eligible for this award.

Purple Heart

SWG relies heavily on factions, squads and squadrons. Everywhere you go, you see teams, groups, and partners. Whenever you play a mission, or participate in a tournament, these teams are relied upon. The player who saves his fellow team-mates from death, helps them out, or is simply an all-around team player receives this award.

Medal of Victory

Although sportsmanship, and team-play are great, only one person can come out a winner. If a player manages to win every game he/she plays, over a long period of time, then they are eligible for the medal of victory. Not many members have much of a chance for this medal, as it is the hardest medal to achieve.

Medal of Honour

Much of the games played here at SWG are played on the zone. The medal of honour is given to a player who defends the honour of SWG in the face of adversity. This is, without a doubt, the most prestigous award available to be won.

Mark of Alderran

The Mark of Alderran signifies Indomitable Spirit, going up against the odds and doing what you believe in at all costs. This shows extreme courage and spirit.

Symbol of Heroism

To help a friend or partner in defeat is to earn victory and honour within. This Award will go to a person who helps out someone in need whatever the costs. They will forfeit things for their friend in need. This is a great quality.
